Meet Tom, a 20-year-old dude who lucked out big time in the family department. See, he was an orphan, but at just three months old, he hit the jackpot when Mr. and Mrs. Cruz scooped him up and officially made him part of their crew. And talk about good timing—right after they adopted him, Mrs. Cruz finds out she’s preggers! Double the joy, right?

So, Tom grows up with this awesome family, and bonus—he gets a lifelong pal in Pauline. Blood may not connect them, but Tom’s stoked to have a solid crew to call family.

Now, don’t get it twisted—Tom’s grateful for Mr. and Mrs. Cruz showing him mad love. But deep down, he’s got this itch to uncover his roots, to find out where he came from, and if he’s got any blood siblings out there.
